Day 93- the END

It's my last day in Belgium, it feels so weird.  I think that's why I'm not as excited as I know I want to be, I don't even feel like I'm leaving in a few hours.  I feel like tomorrow's another Belgian day of life in the hell house, but it really isn't.  It was an interesting experience because it was not what I expected at all and although certain things didn't live up to my expectations, they weren't all horrible.  You really do have to try living in another country for a bit, you understand people better you know ... if that's your thing anyways.  I've met so many people and even if I didn't like them all, I have learned something from them and am grateful for the experience.  In conclusion, Belgium is not exactly my cup of tea per say, but it's cool for a few months. As I ironically write this post in bed, I'm listening to the song I am currently obsessing over and have declared my 2013 summer song, "hold on, we're going home" and I'm going home too.  If you're wondering, my faith hasn't restored in drake, but I do feel better about him because you never want to truly give up on the ones you love.  I think that also leads me to say that I think I'm ok with the comunicationless ending to my friendship with Dante, 3 months later I've let it go and it does not hurt like it did on day 1 of my Belgian trip.  Will I still try?  I think so, I'm a woman of my word and I won't my Orlando chapter with trickery since I'm not a bitch because bitches ain't shit but hoes and tricks.  What will I say?  I feel like Meg from Hercules right now.  Maybe I'll just keep it honest .... like .... what did i do to hurt you so much that you would want to hurt me? Idk, it works for now.  I have to sleep, it's 12:25 am and I have to wake up at 4:50 am :( my mom is actually a horrible flight booker, all of my flights have been early as shit. I take off at 8:30 am and land in Dubai at 8:30 pm. Wish me luck !

Saturday Out

Break is almost over and everyone is heading back to school. Deanna and Bianca went to a party last night and danced the night away. So Bianca and I took the calmer route today and went thrifting at Goodwill and a local flea/ farmer market that I introduced her to this afternoon. It was fun of course. Here's a little photo story of what happened.

We went to Goodwill to grab some clothes (and in my case a book) that needed loving homes.
Then we crossed the street to look around and grab lunch. That's where the churros and shaved ice come in. Bianca had blue raspberry shaved ice (a childish flavor) and I had half strawberry and half guava shaved ice (classy, I know). While in the farmers market B got herself a green jade like bracelet and a rasta themed anklet for me. But before leaving the farmers market Bianca spotted these amazing heels and forced me to put them on. PROPS TO STRIPPERS. Those things almost destroyed my ankle and every fiber in my leg. They are so high. I have this weird feeling that they used to belong to the old white lady who was selling them... Can we clap them thighs in remembrance of her amazing career? And lastly we finished our day off by watching children terrorize each other with sand at a park near my house.
That was our Saturday out.
Next time I see this trick will probably be for my birthday *fingers crossed*.

Bon Voyage

I wait months for this beautiful month and I now will watch it go.  October came beautifully...even though there was a horrible hurricane that ravaged the northeast, I loved October 2012.  May you resurface as gorgeously as you did this year.

badbye

ewwww :P
Goodbyes are never good, fun, happy, or pleasant unless you're saying bye to your evil step-mother or a horrible fashion trend that was never fashionable...like those cheap sparkly belts from 2006 (I wore one once upon a time, but that doesn't mean I wasn't mistaken).  We encounter "byes" almost everyday, but some seem more dramatic than others because it seems like we have more to lose at the time when it may really just be time to go.  Most people weren't meant to know each other their entire lives, hence the hundreds of "friends" we constantly meet and part from.  I just so happen to LOVE Ugly Betty and I just saw the episode where her boyfriend left for 6 months to Africa and I just so happen to be graduating soon and the goodbye's have already begun to roll on in.  If leaving is such a natural thing that happens all the time and throughout history, why do we have such a hard time with it?  If life stayed the exact same way we hoped it would from the first time we didn't want to say goodbye, would life be as enjoyable as it is now and would you have learned the things you know now?  I think the perfect word for goodbyes is BITTERSWEET, maybe that's why it's called a good bye. Either way, I think it would be fun to incorporate several fashion styles that everyone should be happy that they're gone and can comfortably say GOODBYE to (:

this just looks lazy
why was this EVER ok? too much dazzle my friends
this is pretty extreme, but you get the point.  muffin tops ARE NOT acceptable, better fitting clothes are (:
